Wave technologies in biological treatment of wastewater
Year-long trials of the new ‘IWM’ technology are completed in Tatarstan Republic (Russia). This technology, developed by the NGO ‘Kinematika’, allows for modification of the aboriginal active sludge from wastewater treatment facilities and allows to significantly reduce the level of pollution on existing wastewater treatment plants without extra renovation costs, installing additional machinery or building new facilities.
Implementation of the technology increases the capacity of the treatment facilities two- and threefold.
